Activate Oklahoma is excited to bring our training program to more Tulsans in 2025! Thanks to our partners, we are providing training programs year-round and in more locations across Tulsa.
Activate Oklahoma training ensures you cross the finish line feeling strong. Our programs harness an array of resources and proven processes to realize improved physical, mental, and social health benefits beyond other conventional training programs. We provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment and work to remove barriers to achieving your goals.
Individual programs are developed around specific focus groups to address unique aspects, be sensitive to key factors, and target specific needs. Understanding that each individual is valuable and that helping one person when in need improves and strengthens our Oklahoma communities as a whole.

Activate Oklahoma has teamed up with Common Good Tulsa to offer the One Step at a Time walking program to the Northwest Tulsa HUB. This program focuses on mobility, injury prevention, and mental health. All ages and abilities are welcome to join this fun and exciting group of Tulsans.
February through April 2025
Every Tuesday and Friday at 9:00 - 9:45 am
This program is led by professional fitness coaches and experienced group leaders. The program consists of simple walking (and talking) followed by a walk in place step program to maintain mobility and range of motion. Everyone is welcome to join us at The HUB.
Activate Oklahoma and Coffee Bunker have established the On the Move for Veterans program to improve mental health. On the Move is a family-friendly and supportive environment using a social support network for our walk / run training program. The On the Move program utilizes community-building through social connection and physical exercise to improve emotional and mental health.

Participants can start at any level, at any time to develop healthier lifestyle goals. On the Move is led by experienced coaches and supported by medical and mental health professionals. Increase your fitness while learning about tools and resources for mental health. The program consists of simple walking or running (and talking) at the intensity and pace that is dictated by your own fitness goals.
We are excited to bring our Breaking Barriers Training Program and the Breaking Barriers 5K to Lindsey House for the third year in a row. Lindsey House was our first pilot program in 2023 with residents and families. This program has grown over the year but we will never forget our roots.

This run-walk program will help you cross the finish line feeling strong. It is designed to demonstrate the physical, mental, and social health benefits of breaking barriers to conventional training programs. At the end of this program participants will demonstrate their accomplishments to everyone at the Breaking Barriers 5K on July 12th, 7:00 pm.
